Slow to load PDFs

I'm having an issue where my created PDFs load slowly and layer-by-layer. I found this solution for to load the images simultaneously, but it doesn't quite help with text issues.

I'm trying to create PDFs with lots of text boxes that I need to load simultaneously, but I also need to maintain vector data so that the text remains highlightable and such. Any advice?
