Smart object transform quality

Does Photoshop have the option to sustain smart object output after resize in the new version. In the older version when I resize it multiple times it seem to be smart and render from the source to the new ratio. But in CC it seem to resize from the image after resized again and again. *I know that source image quality is reserved by clicking in to smart object and you've original image but what I mean is the image after resized multiple times. For example, if I shrink image size to 50% then I extend it to the same 100% in older version I will get original image pixel by pixel. But in CC when I do this the pixel is change really hard as it enlarge image after pixel color blend together instead.

Let me give some solid example if I have image with this 4 pixel some where.

In CC,

[Red Green]

[Yellow Blue]

v Then I shrink its height be half and now it is

[Red Green]

v Then I enlarge it; it is

[Red Green]

[Red Green]

In the older version,

[Red Green]

[Yellow Blue]

v Then I shrink its height be half and now it is

[Red Green]

v Then I enlarge it; it is

[Red Green]

[Yellow Blue]

Very sorry for my grammar, English is not my native language.

And that's the way it still works. That's what a smart object is.

But in CC it seem to resize from the image after resized again and again.

If it behaves like that, what you have is not a smart object. Then it must have been rasterized.

With a smart object, you can always go back to the original resolution, whatever you have done to it in the meantime.

Smart object layer transform like normal raster layer via interpolation.   So downsizing work better then  Up sizing.  So make you Smart object layer from large  images.   Any time you resize an smart object layer it smarts from the Pixels render for the object when you created the layer. These Pixels never change.  Creating Smart Object layers from using a small amount of Pixels will not work will if you upsize the layer.

If you place in a large Camera image all the your cameras pixels are in the object even if you resized it down in size the match the scale of what you placed the image into.  The Object is the full size image. The Layer pixels are an interpolation of those pixels.

The object size and the layer size may well not be the same.
