Question

Snap Pencil tool to pixel grid!

Hello! I am using Photoshop for pixel art graphics. I have been facing a small, but annoying issue: The pencil tool does not snap to the pixel grid. Instead, it moves around the canvas using subpixels, which I do not prefer. I know there are options to snap things to the grid, but my problems with that are:

A. I do not want the pixel grid to be visible at all.

B. I usually have the grid already set to a size to assist with tile graphics.

Is there any way to fix this issue? Help is appreciated!

I am just a bit copnfused here, because it sounds like you are talking about the adjustable grid that we can turn on and off.  The pixe grid is only visible when zoomed way in  (my screen shot is at 1600%)

The pencil tool does not have anti aliassing like the brush tool, so will fill each pixel 100% as below.

You can turn off the Pixel Grid, but you can't stop the pencil from snapping to it.

Heres a video displaying the pencil tool in another program, Aseprite. I like the way that the pixel displays exactly where it will be placed on the canvas. I am just wondering if theres a way to do this in PS:
