Solution for legacy shapes doesn't work, already updated

So I already found here that the way to get the other shapes (heart, arrow, etc.) to appear is to go to Window, select "Shapes" and then go back to the options for the shapes and then in the menu there will be an option that says "Legacy Shapes..."

This doesn't work for me.  I have restarted my Mac.  I have updated Photoshop today.  I don't know what to do and I can't think of why in the work I would ever need a cutout of a stupid tree or a boat.  This is most ridiculous feature of Photoshop I think I have seen to date.

Is it just me?  I watched youtube videos, I'm looking at the right menus.  Is there a bug??

One thing to try is to go to Apple>System Preferences>Security & Privacy>Privacy>Full Disk Access and add the Adobe Photoshop 2022.app from /Applications/Adobe Photoshop 2022

Adding to what Jeff said, try nuking your preferences. (This will reset everything, but sometimes Photoshop needs a kick in the pants. This is one way to do it.)

(About 1/4 of the way down.)

When you go to Window>Shapes, that is where on the flyout menu you can load the Leagacy Shapes.

I have done this about 10 times.  After restarting.  After updating.  The "Legacy Shapes" part does NOT appear for me.  This is what I said in my post - I've read the other posts here that offer this solution, but this isn't working for me.  So - any other ideas?
