Hi

My Spot healing tool is acting like a normal paint brush. I have reset the tool twice and it still acts like a black paint brush. Thank you.

Reinstall the version.

Hello, I see you want to help users, but I do not think that using the hardcore method of a reinstall should be recommended everywhere.

Could you post the contents of help>system info, so that we get to know your OS, its version, the exact version of Photoshop you are running, the date of the GPU driver, etc.

Also, can we get a screenshot of the tool when it misbehaves, showing the option bar, and the layers panel?

I have the same issue. When I click on my image to heal an area I get a black dot. Sometimes it works properly and sometimes it doesn't. If I click on the crop tool it heals then I can go back to the spot healing and try some more.
