Stange opening file in PS

Question

iMac 24 inch M1, Monterey:When I open a file in PS the window is filled with half of the picture.I don't use a full screen, but when opening a file I would like to see the whole picture.And when type Command + 0, there is a sound and I cannot place the picture full in the window.See the attachement.It happens with older and new files.

Hi there,

Sorry to hear that the Fit to Screen shortcut is not working.
Which version of Photoshop are you using and on what Operating system? Since when are you seeing this issue?
Can you try manually, go to View > Fit On Screen and check if it fits your entire canvas to your screen. If not try resetting the Photoshop preferences back to defaults and check if that helps.
