Stopped opening up certain files since updated Photoshop 2025 & Beta

Ever since updating both versions of Photoshop, been experiencing problems with opening up certain files.  Modifying an existing file and then saving it out beforing closing, it will not re-open the file and lock up the software.  This never happened prior to updating.  Also it's not all files, only certain ones and they happen to be 5 MB or less.

Workaround:  Just downloaded the previous Photoshop 2024 and all my files re-open.  Just to give more detail of my file, it's basically 95% text since I use for invoicing & estimating.  All my preferences for Photoshops 2024 & 2025, are exact mirror of each other.  There is a glitch and can only hope the next update to 2025 will fix.  Meanwhile, 2024 is my choice for now to modify my text files.

Good luck everyone,

Scott

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

@kglad- Thanks for moving my post.  As you can tell, I rarely have any issues needing to reach out to the Adobe Community.  Any suggestions and help is much appreciated!
