Straighten problem within Crop module

Hi there, just noticed that on the latest update to Photoshop and Lightroom, I am having trouble using the straighten tool. It is very hit and miss as far as working. 4 out of 5 times, it starts to drag the image to one side, or it starts to guide then snaps shut. New batteries in my mouse, I have never had any issues before the update. Is anyone else having this issue?
