Stylus Eraser Using Brush Tool

Hello. I'm having a small issue where the eraser on my stylus isn't acting as an eraser (without selecting the eraser tool directly), but instead acting as a brush, I assume it has something to do with my brush preset since I just bought a new Wacom tablet and the issue didn't start happening until selecting a brush either from my custom preset or from the recently used. I have limited knowledge of photoshop, so I apologize if there's a simple fix for this. I have spent a few hours trying to fix it myself, researching online, and searching the forums. Any help is welcome.

I appreciate the suggestion, but unfortunately I didn't have a newer driver update for the tablet. I did, however, figure out what was causing it. I had disabled Windows Ink through Windows settings as well as in the tablet/pen configuration, but only rechecking the Windows Ink box in the configuration seems to have solved my problem. I'm not quite sure how since it's still disabled through my Windows settings, but at least it works now. Thank you again for trying to help.

You could see if there's a newer driver for your Wacom tablet:
