Suggestions for luminosity plugin for Photoshop

I am running the latest version of Photoshop on a Windows 11 desktop.  I am considering purchasing one of the luminosity masking plugins but after searching the Internet there is so much old information out there I don't know which to consider.  Any suggestions you folks would share would be greatly appreciated.
