Switch from Elements to Photoshop 2022

I switched from Photoshop Elements 14 to Photoshop 2022. In Elements I assigned a tag to all my photographs. Can I import the tags from Elements into Photoshop?

Thank you for your reply, not being a user of PSE I am still unsure if the tags are written to the files or if they are in an internal database.

If they are not in the image file metadata, then something should be possible with the XML file from PSE.

@Harry22446766xg3d can you share an image that was tagged in PSE or share the XML file exported from the PSE keyword panel?

Do you mean keyword or other metadata?

Open such a file in Adobe Bridge or Adobe Photoshop, you can then double check in File > File Info to see if the metadata appears in one of the tabs or in raw data.

Keyword and other metadata are generally best handled in Adobe Bridge.
