Switching license from a DOA computer

Hello,

I would like to install Photoshop on my new PC.  The old Sony Vaio, MS Product Key........  Microsoft made us upgrade to Windows 10, which killed the keyboard and mouse, so I have no way of deactivating the product or finding out the serial number.

We would have to pull the hard drive to recover, which we would rather not do, due to expense, etc.

We would really like to use Photoshop, can you help?

Thank you,

Shell Scott

Adobe staff have a staff icon. This is a community. You want to threaten Adobe, you can't do it in a forum. Indeed staff would be instructed to not respond, surely. Get your lawyers to write to their lawyers.

Though what you seem to be saying is you didn't look after the serial number you paid for. I'm sure that will work in a legal threat about as well as telling Ford you can't remember where you parked.

    Understood,

What is strange is that I was talking to Adobe IM. Then I get a message

from you guys. Does Adobe auto send something to you guys?

I do have serial #s, I do have passcodes. Problem is they want me to

REMEMBER old online passcode to an account. I haven't used those old email

accounts in 10+ years. For a program that is old, and the constant barrage

of reasons to think I don't even exist except for a secret passcode from an

    old account.

When it comes to using old outdated, programs. Adobe has taken a SOURED

STANCE. This is not right to act like I am stealing this sofware. That is

not the case I assure you.

I have tried and tried to show that these licence are legit. They have had

more excuses of WHY they can't because of a number located on the doa

    hardware. A catch 22 everywhere I turn.

Now do you honestly think I want to put YOU in a legal bind?! Your not

Adobe, why would you be insulted?

This apparently happens as standard procedure to dump all inquiries to the

    community. How easy is that?!

So obviously I don't kiss nobody's ass to beg and plead.

So I will be making the appropriate form filling to the FTC. I know you

don't care. But you may want to pass this one right back into Adobe's lap.

Otherwise they won't have a clue.

I am not a company yes man.

Too much spent with nothing to show for it.

Thank you for your time, i apologize for my mannerisms. I do live in So.

    Cal. Mostly assholes here, sorry.

All you need is the serial number (Don't post it here- this is a public forum).

What version of Photoshop do you need to download?

Are you trying to threaten me? A fellow user of Adobe products sat in my home trying to help you? Well, have a nice day, won't you.

Who are you guys? Am I talking to Adobe or a community for Adobe?

This is where communication is VITAL!

My threat is not directed to a COMMUNITY, period. I get emails left and

right. Are you an employee from Adobe? If your not please let me know.

Well, you'll need that serial number of course, that's what you paid for. Not a good thing to lose. Did you register? If so, look in your account details. Or look for an email if you purchased online. Once you have it we might be able to help you download, though some versions no longer work. What version did you have? (By the way, if it was Creative Cloud, happily there was no serial number to lose!)

    Hello,

Thank you for the input. You seem to at least look into problems.... again

    thanks..

This is my point. Let's say a large company upgrades ALL their computers

and of coarse, all the software. Brand spanking new stand alone software.

What happens to the old hardware and software??

I believe it is broken up, by using discs, and using these old passwords

    from the old software.

All legal! Hmmm. Then Adobe, being Adobe, WON'T ALLOW THAT TO HAPPEN.

Now I believe this is true. So what do I do? Well I call the FTC, tell them

about your little cutthrout, beehive methods of general business practices.

I also bought a package directly from your outlets. Photoshop, Premeir, and

    a few others were included.

Well no wonder it was so cheap!! Windows 98 edition and could not be used

    9n any New versions.

So what happened. I bought a newer computer, ran win 98 and guess what.

Adobe said that they don't support or help on those particular versions.

    You are acting like THIEVES.

So cough it up or I WILL MAKE A MAJOR PAIN IN YOUR ASS. 27 YEARS I HAVE

OWNED ADOBE SOFTWARE. YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO ASK FOR MORE MONEY JUST TO USE

    OLD ASS SOFTWARE??!!

24 HRS i MAKE IT OFFiCIAL. I will show them all through the years Adobe has

been cheating us constantly every year for 20 years.
