This is my current system.  I am still running PS5 and am looking to upgrade PS.  I have no idea what some of this information means or what the Adobe comments on the system requirement comments mean.  Let's just say that I am an antediluvian and technologically challenged.

System Overview:

OS X Yosemite

Processer:  3.4 GHz Intel Core i7

Graphics:  AMD Radeon HD 6970M 2048 MB

The question is essentially whether I can upgrade to the 2017 PS version on this system?

    If you go with the Creative Cloud Photography Plan, you can choose a version of Photoshop that works best for you.

    10.11 is the minimum. I hope you can upgrade from 10.10 to 10.11  or higher.

    Here are the requirements, both minimum and recommended. 2 GB ram is minimal, and 8 GB is best for most work.

    So have a look at the requirements and if you don't understand something, ask and we will fill in the gaps.

    But it looks to me your system is up to par. Just upgrade MacOS.
