Question

tablet pressure sensitivity issue

recently bought a ugee 1910b tablet. Really good tablet, less expensive than a cintiq or something. It works fine with sketchbook pro, but in CS6 the pressure sensitivity bugs out fairly often.

the pressure sensitivity works, i've tested it through the proprietary ugee driver software. In cs6 it draws straight lines starting from where I first put my pen down and terminating at where I pick it up.
This is a very frustrating issue, as I'm very excited to start using my tablet. Any help would be appreciated. Please ask me for any more info I might have not mentioned.

I was about to make a new thread but apparently this needs more attention since ugee tablet users are underrated.

Im using a tablet UGEE 1910B where the pen pressure does NOT Work ONLY in Photoshop cc 2015. I was a Photoshop CS5.1 user before deciding to use the "latest" version of photoshop. I am very disappointed to this factor and considering to reinstall Photoshop 7 to make this "trendiest" version any more useful. This isnt tablet's fault and If you needs more evidences I can submit files from MS Paint or Gimp.

I am having this exact same problem. I briefly found a fix when I installed the drivers for my Wacom bamboo tablet after my Ugee drivers. This caused the Ugee to recognize pen pressure for about a day or two and then it stopped.

The problem with asking on this forum, is that the issue is with the ugee driver, and even if an Adobe Photoshop Development Team member, like Chris Cox, joined the thread, I suspect he would tell you to contact ugee support.  (Chris does have a habit of turning up when his name is mentioned.)

Or you could ask directly on the ugee Facebook Group

    UGEE Official | Facebook

Alternatively, you need a large user-base, and that can often be the Amazon customer reviews.  There are 39 of them as I write this, and you can ask questions that will be emailed to all of them.

Amazon.com: Ugee 19" Graphics Drawing Pen Tablet Monitor with Screen Protector and Pergear Clean Kit: Computers & Access…

Someone mentioned Lazy Nezumi Pro back up the thread.  You say it didn't help, but Guillaume, the developer of LNP probably know as much about pen pressure issues as anyone you are likely to have access to, and he is super helpful if you email him.

I'm sorry that's the best advice I can give, other than wish you the best of luck in solving your problem.

Thanks for the reply! It's not the ugee driver, the tablet works just fine in Sketchbook Pro. I'm in contact with the ugee support team and they've been helpful thus far, though we haven't solved the issue yet. They told me to check WinTab Service which is definitely part of the issue. I also looked into the amazon reviews, but it seems like the few people that have issues with photoshop on there have a simple fix for it, turning the tablet off and back on again (EDIT: I didn't say that this isn't working for me). I'll look into lazy nezumi, but I don't think it's unrealistic to expect adobe to shoot me at least an idea of how to fix this issue, seeing as to how it's their program that's not functioning.

Thanks for all the suggestions though, they're all definitely good. I'll dig into amazon again, and I guess get the free trial for nezumi or at the very least email him. Thanks for reading.

Hello, I have a Huion tablet which works fine, but I also have Lazy Nezumi Pro which is an enhancer for most tablet drivers-its particularly good at enhancing tablet pressure and smoothing lines. You can toggle it on and off and so can use it as and when required in a project. Its available as a 30 day trial on their website and costs £23/$35 to buy. Sounds a lot but it does many other neat tricks which makes it worthwhile. That's the second time today I've recommended that-I'll need to ask the developer for a free upgrade lol

Seem to remember I reading that some Wacom users were having problems like that also.  The solution for them was to turn off the Wacom Pen tip Double Click Distance setting.  Does your tablets pen driver have a similar setting???

thanks for the reply, no that hasn't seemed to have fixed the issue. Doesn't look like there's an "off" option anyhow
