Text Align defaults to Right To Left

Hellos,

 

I have this issue with Photoshop, where every time I start typing (new layer) it defaults to Right-to-Left align. I'd have to manually change it with every new text layer.

Please help, this is beyond frustrating

Check your settings in your Paragraphs panel menu and your preferences.

Depending on your language settings, it will be set to R ro L.

Try going to the Paragraph panel menu and selecting

"Latin and East Asian Layout".

In Preferences/Type change to  the same.
