Hey all. All of a sudden I cannot set any type in any font larger than 18pt.

Any idea how how to address this? A pref file somewhere?

thanks

Are you typing the typesize into the Character panel or options bar or are you using Free Transform?

Try resetting the Type tool and let us know if this fixes it:

https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/photoshop/using/using-tools.html

To return tools to their default settings, right-click the tool icon in the options bar (not Tools panel), and then choose Reset Tool or Reset All Tools from the context menu.

All of the above with same results.

"To return tools to their default settings, right-click the tool icon in the options bar (not Tools panel), and then choose Reset Tool or Reset All Tools from the context menu."

This does nothing.

"Try resetting the Type tool and let us know if this fixes it:

I'm not sure what you want me to look at on that linked page but nothibg in there is relevant to this conversation.
