Text tool not working/ Could not complete your request because of a program error

Hello,

I've encountered a problem - can not use text tool, maybe someone has also faced this problem and know how to help?

Photoshop is up to date (v.24.6), I'm using Macbook Pro with M1 chip, 16GB Memory.

Hi @monikarukaite that error indicates a specific font. Is the issue happening when using any font?

Hi,

problem occured whenever I press on ''text'' tool, before even choosing the font I want.

After couple times of restarting computer - somehow problem is fixed.

Hi @monikarukaite sounds like a font cached causing the issue. Restarting clears most caches.

If this issue comes up again you can always remove the font cache manually to rebuild:
