How do I remove this from my text tool?  When I use my text box it fills with the following!

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. Quis ipsum suspendisse ultrices gravida. Risus commodo viverra maecenas accumsan lacus vel facilisis.

Thanks!

Kent

    Hi Kent,

You need to go into Photoshop's Preferences > Type and uncheck "Fill new type layers with placeholder text".

More to the point why, despite telling it to keep my old settings, does EVERY update insist on messing with them?

    In Preferences.

Edit (Win) or Photoshop (Mac) > Preferences > Type), uncheck Fill New Type Layers With Placeholder Text.

Seems to be a new default to include placeholder text in CC 2019. No idea why. I can't think of anything more annoying.
