Text Wrap / ENTER key function?

When entering text, the ENTER key works the same as the "ACCEPT" check mark and thus knocks me out of the Text Tool functions. The tutorials say the the enter key should create another line of text. I have been unable to do that. Anyone else have to deal with this.

The Enter key on the Numeric Keypad is the same as clicking on the Green check mark.

The Enter or Return key on the main keyboard is the one that goes to the next line.

Hi Robert,

Also, you didn't say which version of PS, but simply clicking away from your text in CC 2019 is also the same as "Accept", so watch for that!

Which enter key?

The enter key next to the keypad letters - shifts to the next line.  The enter key on the number pad commits the text.
