Question

The Color Window becomes taller when switching between sliders and the color wheel.

Issue:

  • Photoshop version: 25.9.0
  • OS: Windows 10
  • Configuration: 4K monitor with 150% scaling(I'm not sure if it matters or not.)

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open the Color Window.
  2. Switch between XXX sliders and the color wheel.

Expected result: Fixed Color Window size.

Actual result: The Color Window becomes slightly taller each time.

Every time I switch, the Color Window becomes a bit taller. As a result, I have to resize it after switching multiple times. Since Photoshop doesn't allow showing two different sliders at the same time, I have to switch between them frequently. This small issue can become quite annoying.

@fmnijk this is the Ps beta chanel... if you are seeing this issue with Ps release version, then we need to move your post there.

Thanks,

I use Shift+Ctrl+Alt to reset settings, but the problem persists. The Color Panel is at the top right by default. Here is a video. As you can see, the panel becomes taller every time I switch between Sliders and Color Wheel.

I have never used the Beta version. Should I try it?

Hi @fmnijk testing here and we are not seeing this issue you shared.

Try resetting Prefs for the Beta:
/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/ Photoshop Beta Settings (Mac Ventura)
/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/Adobe\ Photoshop\ \(Beta\)\ Settings (Mac)

C:\Users\user name\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop (Beta)\Adobe Photoshop (Beta) Settings

Launch BETA Photoshop While Pressing The Keyboard Shortcut
With Photoshop closed, press and hold Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) / Shift+Command+Option (Mac) on your keyboard and then Launch Photoshop the way you normally would.
