The New 2020 Photoshop is slow and nearly useless.

Question

Please fix! PS 2019 works normal with no lag when moving layers. I'll be over due for projects working with a 2020. It take mins and more mins and MORE & MORE just waiting for that loading wheel to stop an make 1 pix move in any direction. You will waste your $$ paying for a subcriing if you maiing need Photoshop. If you can...download 2019.

Also, my shape presets are dulicated by 3 folds! I cannot even delet any of them. There are issues up and down with 2020. I can complain like a baby since this is NOT free!! Im paying to stare at a loading wheel and not get any work done.

FIX this please.

Hi there,

Sorry that Photoshop 2020 is running slow and causing trouble completing your projects. Let us help make it right.

Please checkout the steps below:

1) If you are on a Mac, try going to the System Preferences of the macOS, then to Security and Privacy and add Photoshop to the Accessibility under the Privacy tab. Also, grant permissions to Photoshop 2020 under the Files and Folders section.

2) Turn on the Legacy Compositing option in Performance preferences. Choose Edit > Preferences > Performance (Windows) or Photoshop > Preferences > Performance (macOS). Select Legacy Compositing. Quit and relaunch Photoshop
