The tilda brush shortcut doesn't switch from normal to clear

I recently discovered that holding the tilda key while using the brush was supposed to switch from normal to clear mode and vice versa, but for some reason, it's not working for me.

 

I'm using a pack of custom brushes form Philip Sue, but all the settings seems to be "regular", opacity 100%, and so on and so on, as well as the latest Photoshop's version.

 

I'm using an XP-Pen Star 3 with an international English TKL keyboard, and the tilda key is working on it...

 

Furthermore, I've tried the shortcut on both normal layers and clipped layers, and it still doesn't work...

 

If anyone have time or an idea, I'd be really grateful..

EDIT : The trick was to change keyboard to regular QWERTY keyboard, not international, as the tilda key is a dead key on it (Needs mutiple inputs).
