There might be no prominent objects in the image

Hi everyone, since few days and I cannot select subjects in any photo in any format. I have uninstalled photoshop and reinstalled it from the creative cloud app but still no luck. is there is something I'm missing? I didn't change anything, same machine same workflow same everything, what could be the issue?

    They'd also like to confirm that settings are the same between systems and there are no stray settings:

    Does it work correctly?
    If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back.
    If it does solve the problem, I would like to get the folder of settings to try and figure out what is bad with them.

    I also made a screen recording for both Photoshop 23.3 and BETA 23.4 to show you the difference. There is also a bug at the end of the video in the Beta related to swatches.

    Engineering would like a copy of file that you're having trouble with (share via CC files) as well as system info. 

    Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply. That may help them to track down the problem.

    Hi Jeffrey, today I updated to Photoshop 23.2, and the select subject issue is still there, Photoshop says that there might be no subject to select, although the BETA 23.2 version runs fine and can select subjects in the same images with no issues at all. I also noticed that the BETA version has an option to choose to run the selection calculations on the device or in the cloud, however this option is missing from the 23.2 non BETA version. any thoughts on what might be the issue?

    It sounds like it'll likely be fixed when the official 23.2 release goes out.

    Sorry for my late reply. Well, I have installed Photoshop Beta 23.2 and it can select the subject, however, I also installed the latest Photoshop version 23.1.1 and it cannot select the subject. I tried it with many photos, in both apps, Beta 23.2 can select and the stable 23.1 or 23.1.1 cannot

    Maybe the layer is to much transparent. in this case try to go to channels and show only the more contrasted chanel. the select subject
