Files saved in PS 24.2.0 as TIFF (no compression) Using Mac OS 12.6 are not validating in JHOVE:

Have you checked with the JHOVE maintainers about why their software is not validating the files.

Please remember that TIFF is a proprietary file format controlled by Adobe - so that we are free to make whatever changes we wish to the format. I suspect that JHOVE simply hasn't kept up.

Thank you for the file @Roel28758851d917, could you explain this process as it is very unique, what is your workflow and other software/website etc that you use to do this? When did you notice this was not working, what version of Ps worked?

Are you able to open any other TIFF files, JPEGs, etc? Trying to understand what might be at fault.

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.
