To upgrade or not to upgrade

Good day all,

Is it safe to update photoshop in regrads to pen pressure and basic functionalities or should I wait a few months till Adobe gets their act together.  I had to go back to a previos version of PS and having no abnormal issues so I'm good..  Don't have time to fussing around with Adobe!!  What say ye?
