Today my camera raw files cannot be made into jpegs

Hello, never done this before but im completly at a loss, I'm a proffesional photographer and have been running my raw images through bridge for years then highlighting images then dragging them into photoshop where i correct if needed as a raw file, I then open them in photoshop where i have quick action set up to save as jpegs, today that all stopped, they only save as PSD's no good to me, help me someone pls

By default, Photoshop now only offers you file formats that support the contents of your document. So to see jpeg your document would need to be 8 bit, RGB with no additional channels, Background Layer only (not Layer 0), no transparency. Other file formats that do not support all the functions of your document can be found in Save a Copy. The idea is that you don't inadvertently lose content.

 

As Kevin says, if you prefer the older behaviour, then you can enable Legacy Save As in Preferences

Go to your Photoshop Preferences/File Handling and check "Enable Legacy "Save As""
