Tool bar issue.

I have noticed recently, that every time I close out Photoshop, and the re-open it, the Crop Tool in the Tool bar reverts to the Rotate View Tool.    I have the Crop Tool at the top of the sub menu, and every time I open Photoshop, I RESELECT the Crop Tool, but after I close Photoshop, and then re-open Photoshop, the Rotate View Tool becomes the default tool in that category.   Any ideas WHY?

D Fosse,

I just removed that tool from the submenu, and put it back into the tools I do not use.   That fixed the problem.   Thanks.

I have had that tool in that group for at least 2 years since I went to subscription plan.

Try to reset your preferences from Preferences panel.

Rotate View and Crop are normally in completely different places in the toolbar. Have you moved them into the same group?

(I assume you know about Edit > Toolbar to customiz it).
