Tool Panels Are Moving Around

I have set up a saved workspace with the panels and groups of panels I use, placed where I want them.  But every time I walk away long enough for the computer to go into sleep mode, the panels scatter and even the main window frame moves.  They stay in the correct configurations (meaning one panel for example, always has the tabs for Layers and Channels) but they move from my right display (I use two) to the far left edge of the left display--most of the way off the screen so I have to grab them by their edges and drag them back into place.  The main window is about an inch low and shifted to the right.  Everything jumps to this same random 'layout'.  Clicking back and forth between workspaces does no good, thou once they're dragged back into place, I can close and reopen PS and things are where they should be.

True this is a minor nuisance compared to say, global pandemia, but it didn't do this months ago and I would like it to stop.

Like I say: two monitors, 'trash. can' Mac Pro, all recent updates.

How about Window > Workspace > Reset …?

How about Window > Workspace > Reset …?

OK so I'm a dope.  Hitting Reset put the panels back in place, though the main window still sags.  And actually it's only a downward drop, no sideways movment.  All in all a great improvement.

I should have tried 'Reset' but I was nervous that would send it all back to Adobe defaults of some sort.

Thank you very much C, much appreciated!

Not sure if it would help but restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might be useful, same as the other general trouble-shoooting routines listed here:

Excellent, I'll do that--thanks again!
