Tool select is automatically showing hidden tools

Does anyone else have an issue with this? When I click a tool in the tool bar, the hidden tools automatically open up, on a simple click! This happens on my Mac Pro. On my Mac Book Pro, when I click a tool, it just selects the tool, no drop down of the hidden tools. If I want to see the hidden tools, I simply hard click or right click and it shows them, as it's supposed to. This is so frustrating when you are moving fast and have to keep selecting from the hidden tools drop down from the tool you want. I did a Reset All Tools, didn't work. Please someone shed some light on this. Thanks! Photoshop CC 20.0.6
