Hi!

I have tried everything what Google comes up with when searching for touch bar but I cant get it to work in Photoshop.

I´m running 2019 Mac Pro

  • 2.3GHz 8‑core 9th‑generation Intel Core i9 processor, Turbo Boost up to 4.8GHz
  • Retina display with True Tone
  • Touch Bar and Touch ID
  • 32GB 2400MHz DDR4 memory
  • Radeon Pro 560X with 4GB of GDDR5 memory
  • 512GB SSD storage

Photoshop ver 20.0.5

Fallowed Adobe guide lines about touch bar but now there is Enhanced controls tap instead of Technology Previews and there is no Show Touch Bar Property Adjustments that Shows/hides the informational pop-up windows displayed when you modify properties, such as Brush Size, using the Touch Bar

Followed Adobe guide Use the Touch Bar with Photoshop and

Need my touch bar ASAP, any help.

Is anyone with new MacBook Pro with the same problem or can anyone tell me if the touch bar is working for them.

The solution for me was to fallow this guide, How to use function keys on MacBook Pro with Touch Bar - Apple Support

If you can't see your touch bar controllers the open System Preference > Keyword > Shortcuts >  Select Function keys and make sure that you don't have Photoshop listed there. But it's my recommendation that you live or add Lightroom to the Function keys list to always show Function keys.

    Hi

    See this:

Learn how to work with the MacBook Pro Touch Bar in Photoshop.

    and this:

    https://help.apple.com/macbookprothunderbolt3/late-2016/#/apdea299d0db

Note that Touch Bar support in Photoshop is currently a technology preview feature.

If it still doesn’t work, report it to the engineers at Photoshop Family Customer Community.
