This sounds like the sort of problem you could fix with a left handed screwdriver.

Can you tell us what version of Photoshop you are using, and which laptop?

Is this multi finger gestures?

Can you be more specific about exactly what you are trying to do, and how you are doing it?

The obvious question is how does Photoshop know which hand you are using, or is it to do with relative positions of fingers and thumb?
