Transfer of License process

2) This page also says: Once both parties have submitted a Transfer of License form, allow three to four weeks for Adobe to process your license transfer request, and https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/system-requirements.html says: under Photoshop CS6 system requirements, This software doesn't operate without activation.  Does this mean the recipient of the transfer will not be able to use the software until Adobe processes the transfer request?

As far as I know, the recipient will be able to activate the license after you have Deactivated from all your machines.

Why Adobe has such elaborate system is beyond me because the activation system works so why bother with additional paper work.  Some people never bothered to register their CS6 package because it was not mandatory.  All that was required is a serial number and activation.  Once you deactivate a machine then clearly it is available to be used on another machine and in some cases on somebody's machine if the product has been resold.

With CC the system is pretty much straight forward.  You can install on any number of machines but it can only be activated on 2 machines at any one time.  As soon as your subscription expires then the product stops working. DONE.  Buy a new subscription or renew the current one or don't bother at all.
