Question

Transferring files from photoshop (desktop) to Adobe photoshop sketch (iPad)

Hello,

I just recently got abobe sketch for ipad and found it incredibly easy to transfer working files to my macbook pro.
However I cannot for the life of me figure out how to transfer my working files from my desktop to adobe sketch on ipad.
The only solution i've found while scouring the internet is to upload the layers to assets on creative cloud, which is fine for
a small volume but very tedious to do on files with many layers...
I feel as if I'm not missing some simple way to this, any help would be appreciated!
Many thanks in advance!

If you know how to transfer from a mac to an Ipad, then, transfer from the PC to the mac. Unless you have a usb cable then you should be able to use the ipad as an external drive for the pc. Just make sure you eject the ipad before unplugging the usb cable.

Thanks for the response @Silkrooster,

I'm only working on mac here, no pc involved. I can transfer the files onto my ipad from my computer,
but i cannot work on them in adobe sketch on the ipad. I read that adobe sketch can't read psds but somehow you can
'send to desktop apps' from adobe sketch but not the other way around. I'd like to be able to switch between the two

Ah, sorry. I misinterpreted your post. All files on your mac's version of photoshop are stored in a folder not inside photoshop itself. So transfer should be fairly straight forward to the ipad. Once on your ipad, you should be able to find the location with the ipad's version of photoshop.
The other option is to upload the file to the Adobe cloud. I assume the Ipad version has access to it. (Sorry I don't have an ipad, so I am shooting in the dark.)
