Transform copies the image!

This is a new problem. When I am using the Transform (Option- T) PS CC is now copying the image! I have to undo, and then try to transform again. The second time I try to transform, PS doesn't copy the image.

This is another step- and very annoying. 

Does anyone else have this issue? Is it a "bug"?

The only Mac keyboard shortcut for Transform is Cmd-T, there is no Opt-T shortcut.

 

Cmd-Opt-t is what you might be thinking of.
