trouble when opening PD from Lightroom

Relatively new user to PS, I have creative cloud and everything is up to date.

When in LRClassic and I wnat to export a photo to PS for further eiting, I choose Photo...edit in...PS...Edit a copy (OK)

Then I get this message:

Some of the application components are missing from the Application directory, Please reinstall the application.

I've uninstalled PS and reinstalled now twice and I keep getting the same message.

As a workaround, I open PS from its app and then can send over from LR.
