Two Photoshop folders on Mac OS

I'm on Big Sur, 11.6.

CC is updating Photoshop 23.x and 24.x.  Been doing so for a few months I believe.

I see a PhotoShop 2022 and PhotoShop 2023 folders in my Applications folder.

Is there some reason the updater left the older 23.x version on my computer?

Or is there a reason to keep the 23.x version?

Hi @hyycc you are in control of your updates, meaning in the Creative Cloud desktop app you can tell it to remove older versions when updating. It seems like you have that option off by choice somewhere in the past.

If version 24.x is working well for you and your preferences/presets are all ported over, I see no reason to eat up disk space having both versions.

You can use the CC desktop app to cleanly remove 23.x versions - go to the Apps tab and click the ellipses (...) next to the installed version and choose Uninstall.

Thanks, I changed the settings and uninstalled.

Mostly a LR user so doubtful it had any particular preferences or settings I would care about.
