Type glitch in CC 21.1

I have filter keys off, set to "ignore duplicate keystrokes" and it does, except in Photoshop. Any word with a duplicate letter: dinner, swimming, hurricane, etc. only one of the letters will type and it drops the 2nd one. Spaces as well. You have to wait about 2 seconds before you can duplicate the key just used.. It is the opposite of what filter keys are set up for and again, only an issue in Ps. I just went back to CC v20.0.8 and I can't duplicate the problem. Everything works fine in the older version - So it's narrowed down to being a problem in v 21.1. Please fix.
