Type is writing backwards (NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE)

To give you an example of what is happening, this is how this sentence will type in photoshop...

Ive tried following resolutions given on here and google.

My type is set to 'Default features', but although words are writing in the correct direction, when I press space bar, the next work starts to type before the text id just entered.

Not sure why this is happening now after 3 years of using Photoshop just fine.

Please help! lol

Do you have Middle Eastern features enabled? If you do, then the Paragraph panel has a button to select left to right (or right to left) typing. Try that first.

Have you tried resetting the Type tool from the options panel (not Tools panel)? Right-click or use the drop-down menu. If that doesn't work, go to Help > System Info and paste the contents here.
