Type Tool Issue

Hello,

I am having the following problem since I downloaded and started using Adobe CC 2017

in a document if I try to select a different font other then the system fonts i get this message:

Selected font failed during last operation. If problem persists, please disable the font.

I am also using Suitcase Fusion version 7 to manage my fonts.

Can anyone please help me figure out how to trouble shoot this issue.

Do you get this error message while opening a specific document or all?

Does that file contain third party fonts?
