Typing but text is missing in text box for Photoshop 23.1.1. I have tried looking at the character box and changing preferences but nothing is working. Please help!

It happens sometimes.
What size font are you using? What color is it?
If font is too big for canvas, you won't see it.
If too tiny, you won't see it.
And if too light/dark for the background, you won't see it.
Matching font size to canvas size & resolution is a bit of trial & error.
