I'm currently getting this error: "Uh oh, this PSD was not successfully processed because it's not currently compatible with Extract." What would cause a PSD to not be compatible with Extract?

[Sorry, Ostry, for the long delay. This one slipped through the cracks and I only recently rediscovered it]

There is no particular size limit on files; we do have a layer limit but if you were hitting that it would have explicitly told you so.

If you are still having trouble, and you have files that you can share privately with me, I'll be happy to take a look [we take your privacy very seriously and our lawyers won't let us just go snooping in your files :-) so you have to explicitly share them with us]

Yep, it's a confirmed bug and affecting all users. It's fixed but working its way through the deployment pipeline, so please sit tight.

Should be fixed now. Give it a try and please accept our apologies for the failures. We strive to never have any :-)

Same issue - just started happening today.  Previously uploaded PSDs work fine but anything I uploaded today produces this error.

I have the same issue. Earlier today everything was working ok, but now every new file i upload doesn't work. Some of them have size about 15 MBs. Can anyone help please?

I'm able to reproduce your troubles and am investigating. Stay tuned.

I am having this same issue and my file size is only 11MB and only 15 or so layers?!?

Can anyone help?

Sorry to hear that, booboobear. Our goal is of course to be able to process every file.

If you can share your file with us we can take a look and see what we're not liking about it. Use the sharing feature to create a link and then PM it to me if it's sensitive or just post it here in the forum if it's not.

Thank you for privately sharing your file. And for the sake of anyone following along on the forums here's a general recap of what we found:

As we discussed privately, it seems that sometimes (but not always) there can be an issue when you use a layer group as a clipping mask. The issue is now fixed, but will take a little while to wend its way through the system. It should be live on or around 9/2/15.

Thanks for sharing your issue (and file) and sorry for the trouble.

Hi, Jake-

Do you see this happening when you share it, or does this happen when you're logged into your own account and are looking at the PSD within the assets section of your CC account?

Thanks,

-Elaine

Yes. It happens when I'm logged into my own account and am looking at the PSD in the Extract section.  (Details Activity Extract)

Our favorite answer to "what would make it incompatible?" is "nothing" but the fact that you get that error means we're not at 100% :-).

It would be great if you could share your file for analysis. If you share the file and then either a) post the link here or b) PM it to me or Elaine (if it's something you don't want to share with the whole forum) we will take a look at it and see what we can find.

Thanks,

-Mitch
