Unable to access photoshop

Whenever I attempt to get into Photoshop 2022 I am receiving an error related to the scratch disk being full. There's a link that says to click to resolve the issue, but I am unable to click it. Can anyone provide guidance as to how to clear this error?

Hi @Donney29823190wsbb simply put - you need to clean out your C drive to allow at least 50 GB of space for Photoshop to open and function. PS uses 20 GB at startup alone. 4.85 GB free space is going to cause your Windows machine to crash anyway as once you are out of HD space the OS locks up.

Start migrating/purging to free up space.

How much free space do you have on your hard drive(s)? Photoshop needs plenty of free space to use as a scratch disk. Most people say 100GB free scratch space is minimum — I have 1TB free space. 

 

Also check the size of the file you are opening. It's a common error to choose File > New, then 1000 x1000 inches instead of pixels, for example.

 

What is your OS and version, and is there a reason you are using an older version of Photoshop?

the solutions are still not working as I am not even able to get to the point of changing scratch disk options. I've attached a pic of what happens whenever I try to launch Photoshop
