Unable to add Adobe Photoshop 8.0 Object Library COM to .NET application.

I am doing some scripting with a vb.net application and recently moved to a new computer. I went into to my .NET application and was going to add the Adobe Photoshop 8.0 Object Library as a reference but it doesn't appear in the COM list. I already installed photoshop and assumed the COM was somehow registered during the installation. Anyone know how to make it appear in the add reference COM list or another way to add the Photoshop scripting libraries to my .NET application.

The most common problem is that there is an entry missing in the registry, usually if you start Photoshop as Administrator this should fix the registry. (Only required to start as Administrator just the once).

Hopefully you should then be able to see the Object Library.
