Undo not refreshing unless I shrink to start bar and reopen...

Hey folks,

Since the latest version of Photoshop (20.0.04), using undo regularly fails to refresh. It's not hanging persay because the software still responds. I hit ctrl-z and nothing happens. If I minimise the software to the start bar and maximise it again thing I'm trying to undo has undone... I'm having to shrink and maximise the window nearly every time I want to undo something and it's driving me mad!

Is anyone else finding similar? I'm trying to work out if it's update related or specifically my machine...

Hi

Not having any issues here with PS 20.0.4 on Windows 10, have you tried resetting Photoshop preferences

If that doesn't help try enabling this option in the performance tab and restarting PS

Thanks for the speedy response Ged,

That second legacy option certainly seems to have helped. Not 100% in that it seems to start struggling and hanging after 10 or so undo's but I guess that's more of a performance issue. Although I'm testing it just by drawing black lines with a wacom pen. This shouldn't be a struggle! I'll use it for work for a bit and report back if it's still problematic.
