Hi There,

I keep trying to open photoshop and get the "Cannot open photoshop because an unexpected end-of-file error was encountered'. I have tried uninstalling it and installing it again, but it still does not work. Any suggestions?

    Hi

If you can't open Photoshop try deleting the preferences file, you haven't mentioned what version of OS and Photoshop you have which would help a lot, if you're on Windows you'll find it here

C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2018\Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 Settings

Delete the Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 Prefs, it will be created again when you open Photoshop

For more info about resetting the preferences take a look here

Seems you have a corrupted file. Try to open it in another app, your browser, for example. If you are lucky and it opens, save it with another file name. Otherwise, it may not be recoverable without special software. Also, check this out: Corrupted File - Urgent Help Needed
