Unlocking Issue with Apple Watch on Mac When Running Photoshop 23.5.1

When I run Photoshop (version 23.5.1), I encounter an issue where, after selecting 'Lock Screen' from the Apple menu and then trying to log back in, I get a message saying, 'This screen is being monitored, so it cannot be unlocked with Apple Watch.' Consequently, I'm unable to unlock my Mac with my Apple Watch. However, if I exit Photoshop, I can then successfully unlock my Mac using the Apple Watch.

In the System Preferences under Privacy and Security, I have disallowed all Adobe applications from 'Screen Recording.' My system setup is as follows:

  • MacStudio (Ventura 13.6.3)
  • Photoshop 23.5.1

Has anyone else experienced similar issues?

Correct answer Yamonov

I have identified the cause of this issue.
In my environment, the Photoshop plugin "3DxPhotoshop2024.plugin" was the cause. After removing this plugin, everything started working normally.
