unwanted reduced size of images when importing into photoshop

My Photoshop CC 2019  has started reducing my photos when i import them into photoshop. what have i done to create this how do i undo what can i check for? should I unsubscribe and start again? thanks Cathy

If you are using ACR check your ACR workflow option they may be resizing your raw images during] conversion.

What do you mean by "import them into Photoshop"? What is your workflow? Where are the images starting out, and how are you opening them into Photoshop? Tell us exactly what your workflow is. Then open the image size dialog box and take a screen capture. Share it here and tell us what is different than your expectations.

Image files are not measured by print dimensions. They are measured by pixel dimensions, so many pixels wide by so many pixels high. That's the size of the image. The rest is secondary metadata. So check again.

instead of showing 33.3% size in photoshop the images are coming in at 239.2% and when i open them out of raw processing  and check image size instaed of being 31 x 47cm they are only  5.65 x 8.47 ? please help!!! i have a deadline and i cant figure what has happened?

I have tried all sorts of images from existing work and the only works that are showing as my original large files are those i have already processed and saved at psd files

We need a little more information. Are you sure that the resolution of the 2 files are the same? That could account for the size differences you are seeing.
