Update 22.3 Pen tool broken for simple paths !!!!

When creating a path, the pen tool behaves normally until saving the Work Path as Path 1.  Thereafter, it only adds individual points with no line segments connecting bewtween them.  Creating a new blank path does not fix the behavior, pen tool clicks only add points "in space" with no connecting line segments.

Reverting to 22.2 fixes the issue.
