update errors

Ever since my update to latest version of photoshop the program wont save correctly. it says program error. i used unchecking saved in background and closing layers. but those are apparently temperary fixes and its been freezing up. never happened with the other version. are there anymore updates or anything.                  or can i go back to other version. Suggestions please.

While this does not fix your problem with the current version, yes you can easily use an earlier version of Photoshop. The Creative Cloud app allows you to have multiple versions of a single program simultaneously installed.
