Question

Updating CS6 and Camera after reinstall

I recently uninstalled and reinstalled from my originally purchased disc, but both are functioning at the version that was available at the time of purchase.

i understand that CS6 is no longer supported and that to get update down loads I have to arrange it through account management at Adobe.com

My first question is: where is account management located on the site?

My second question is: will the updates be available to me since I was using the disc to reinstall?

Actually Adobe removed links to installers and many updaters.  Use at your own risk.  CS6 is on life support and 8 years out of date.  It's unclear how much longer CS6 activation will be possible.  Start budgeting now for new software.

Thank you for your advice, Nancy. I was indeed contacted by a purported rep by email directing me to Outlook; a suggestion I ignored.

What operating system are you using?

Have you tried Help>Updates from within photoshop cs6?

I'm using Windows 7. I haven't tried the help>updates, but I will.

Jeff, I followed your suggestion to try Help>update from within the program.... and it worked!

Thank you so much for your assistance.
